You’ve probably heard of this somewhat bizarre concept before, from people who don’t hesitate to say their wildest dreams have come true, just by imagining them coming to fruition in their minds.
The Law of Attraction could therefore be summed up as the influence of our thoughts on our environment, and our life more broadly.
Our desires are thus manifested in reality by the Law of Attraction.
Does this sound too good to be true? This is what I thought too at the beginning, yet I quickly understood that this Law of Attraction could be very useful to me in everyday life.
Will Smith, Jim Carrey, Arnold Schwarzenegger and many more celebrities practice the Law of Attraction with success?
You are going to find you can manifest anything you desire.
How to use the law of attraction?
Whether you think that your unconscious thoughts influence your behaviour and non-verbal language, and therefore on the perception that others have of you, and/or more broadly of a collective unconscious to which we are all linked, the law of l attraction will be very useful to you.
The people who use this law mainly seek to attract so you can manifest anything you desire:
Step 1: Make a decision
Deciding what you want to happen in your life is the most important step in the law of attraction.
You must have a very clear view of your desires. Whether it’s for something insignificant or huge in your life, you need to be clear about what you want.
When you imagine this new “thing” appearing in your life, imagine it with your 5 senses.
Take the time to meditate by imagining your life after acquiring this “thing”.
Whether it’s finding 10 euros on the floor or meeting your soul mate on the street, imagine that as precisely as possible.
Imagine what your encounter with this “thing” would be like, the smells, the sound, the taste and the touch if relevant.
- How will you feel once this “thing” is part of your life?
- Where will you feel this in your body?
- Will your heart race or will you feel a wave of calm?
Make this desire come true in your mind. Don’t just imagine receiving this new thing, think about what change it will bring to your life. In your view of the world.
This step is very important because it prepares your mind and body to receive what you ask for.
All this is because our brain doesn’t differentiate between reality and imagination. Thus, you will be aligned with your desires.
Step 2: Practice unconditional love for yourself
If you don’t believe that you deserve what you want, you won’t get it.
These deep, unconscious fears and doubts are going to sabotage you.
If a part of you feels like you don’t deserve what you are looking for, then that part of you is competing with your desire.
Think of it as a radio signal. When you scan the frequencies, two stations compete against each other for you to receive their signal. You have surely already had this experience in a car.
The two stations compete, and occasionally you hear a song and then part of another song too. You notice that neither of the two stations is clear and crisp, that there is crackling.
It’s the same when you are in doubt or fear, those thoughts and feelings interrupt and compete with your desires.
These doubts and fears are limiting beliefs that keep you from getting what you want.
For example, you might think, if you are looking to find your other half: “People are unfaithful in love, true love does not exist …”. Suffice it to say that you are not starting on the right foot to make your desire come true.
Of course, it is difficult to completely free yourself from doubt, fear and/or the feeling of not deserving something.
Your first thought might be to fight off those negative thoughts by telling yourself “don’t be afraid” or even “I deserve it”, but that doesn’t work, as they reinforce those negative thoughts even more.
The only truly effective way to combat these fears and doubts is to be aware of them, and then confront them with love and compassion. These negative feelings have a deeply buried source.
Something someone told you, or the result of something you did, made you feel unworthy of receiving good.
It is painful, so you try to avoid going through it again at all costs, hence this fear and these doubts.
You can weaken these stray thoughts by approaching them with love and compassion, the same you would feel about a lonely and lost child or an injured animal.
When you love yourself, you allow yourself to manifest your greatest desires, and you begin to desire only what is best for you.
Step 3: Open up to opportunities
It is important to allay your fears and doubts. But that’s not all, it’s also important to see how the Law of Attraction has worked in your life in the past. It’s time to take a step back.
First of all, think about all the bad things that are happening in your life right now.
Can you notice how they relate to your fears, doubts, and behaviours that made these things appear in your life?
Focus on your role in the process, rather than feeling guilty or ashamed.
Acknowledging that your fears have manifested themselves in your life doesn’t mean that everything that happens to you is your fault.
It just means that the Law of Attraction responded to the signal you sent.
Once you recognize that the system is working, you can use it for your well-being rather than letting it do you a disservice.
Now think about all the good things that have happened in your life. Then again can you notice how your hopes, dreams and ambition have drawn these good things to you?
Notice how your state of mind influences what happens to you, and that when you firmly believe that something is going to happen, it does.
Again, rather than feeling pride or pumping up your ego, it’s about understanding that the law of attraction is already part of your life. It’s always been there, but you didn’t know it until now.
The Law of Attraction is constantly working, even without you knowing it. Just like gravity works whether you believe it or not.
Step 3 is important because it allows you to make the connection between your current life and what brought you there.
Of course, cataloguing every little thing that happened in your life, and linking it to your thoughts and emotions at the time is impossible and unnecessary. Instead, think about the state of mind that brought you to where you are today.
And finally, express gratitude.
Be grateful and appreciate the benefits of this law in your home. Make a list of all the things you have enjoyed having in your life so far, and thank the universe.
Expressing your gratitude is the key to bringing even better things into your life.
Step 4: Live the reality of your desires
Now it is time to live the reality of your desires.
You imagined what you wanted, allayed your doubts and fears, and realized how the law has worked for you in the past. You did this type of imagination exercise in step # 1, but now it’s time to live that imagination.
It’s a bit of a theatrical exercise, so allow yourself to release your inhibitions to make this exercise effective.
Rather than just visualizing reality in your mind, experience it as much as possible. This may sound silly or strange to you, but in a moment we’ll see why this is so important.
Here is an example of something simple, let’s say finding a parking space. Get in your car and drive to this parking spot with the full intention and hope of finding it.
Announce it aloud: “This parking space is free for me. I park in the place open to me. ” Again, I’m fully aware that this might sound silly, but it’s a crucial step.
If you are practising this technique on something larger, this exercise can get tricky, but use your imagination.
For example, if you are trying to lose weight then buy an outfit that is the size you want.
If you want a new car, go visit a dealership. Or if you are aiming for something important like complete financial freedom, start planning what you’re going to do with all that free time and money.
The important thing is to act as if you already have what you are looking for. No more no less.
This step is essential for two reasons: The first is that it aligns you more strongly with your desires.
We have seen that likes attract, so if you act as if you’ve already got what you want, you are sending a clear message to the universe that you are serious about your endeavour. Actions speak louder than words, don’t they?
The second is that it allows you to feel the satisfaction of having obtained what you want. It solidifies your belief and strengthens the visualization you worked on in step one. Let the joy and enthusiasm manifest in you!
Of course, there is still one point to be addressed: perseverance. This is the final piece of the law of attraction puzzle.
There is no formula for how long things can manifest in our life. We each have our obstacles to overcome, and it will take time to see the results of this system.
Some people can see the things they want to happen immediately, for others it may take a little longer. But the key here is patience and persistence.
As soon as the doubt or fear begins to re-emerge, go back to step 2 and respond to it. If you have lost touch with your intention, go back to step 1.
If your belief in the law of attraction wanes then go back to step 3. And if all else fails, then repeat step 4 every day until it becomes a reality!

Simply, being aware of it will allow you to choose what you want to attract to you, and in particular, the things you want.
